From the RS485 bus to the service ticket.

EVVO Smart connects a solar plant end to end: a data logger on the inverter bus, a SCADA in the cloud, an O&M app in the field and a CRM at the service desk. Every kilowatt reports in, as often as every minute. Every fault ends as a closed ticket.

Why EVVO Smart

One vendor, from the inverter bus to the service desk.

Most plants juggle three vendors' tools that never quite agree. EVVO Smart is designed, built and operated by one team, so the logger, the dashboard, the O&M app and the service desk all read one set of numbers.

  • Hardware and software from one team

The data logger, its firmware, the cloud services and the apps are all ours. When something needs changing, there is nobody to wait for.

  • Your data on your own servers

A cloud master with a live on-premises standby, read-only access for the O&M side, and HTTPS on every service.

  • Built for Indian C&I solar

Tariff slots, deemed generation, DG backup and grid outages are first-class features, not workarounds.

The stack

Four products. One line of data.

Each product hands its data to the next, so the plant owner, the O&M engineer and the service desk all read the same numbers.

EVVO Data Logger

An industrial logger that speaks Modbus on one side and MQTT on the other, and keeps logging when the internet does not.

  • Any make, any bus. RS485 Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP for up to 32 inverters, meters and weather stations per logger.
  • Ethernet or 4G LTE. MQTT uplink over either link, and the logger also serves the bus as a Modbus TCP gateway.
  • Never loses a row. Every reading is written to the SD card first and uploaded when the link returns.
  • Power Control. Export limits and load following written straight to the inverters every second, with a safe fallback when an input goes stale.
  • Updates over the air. Bootloader-based firmware updates and a remote tunnel, so support rarely needs a site visit.
  • Commission from a browser. Add a device, map its registers and watch live values on the logger's own console.

EVVO SCADA

The plant, live, in the browser and in your pocket.

  • Telemetry your way. Every inverter, meter and weather station logged at 1, 5 or 15 minutes, with full history and CSV export.
  • The plant as a diagram. Energy-flow and single-line-diagram views, plus KPI cards you configure per plant.
  • Reports that drill down. Daily, monthly and yearly generation, right down to each inverter's kWh.
  • Forecast against actual. Open-Meteo weather and your inverter ratings give an expected curve, so under-performance shows the same day.
  • Alerts that mean something. Fault registers decoded into names, not codes, and pushed to Android within seconds.
  • Open by design. A public REST API with account keys, webhooks and MQTT for your own integrations.

EvvoCare O&M

Operations and maintenance for solar fleets, with the SCADA numbers already inside.

  • Tickets, end to end. Customers raise, plant managers route, engineers close, and every step is timestamped.
  • Checklists with a signature. Weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules built from the plant's own assets, signed on screen.
  • Performance, priced. PR, CUF, specific yield and deemed generation, with lost units attributed to grid outages, inverter faults, curtailment or cleaning.
  • Everything about the site. Asset register with install and swap lineage, inventory, documents, attendance and team chat.
  • Eva, the fleet assistant. Answers in plain words from your real figures only. It never invents a number.
  • Roles that match the site. Admin, plant manager, engineer and customer each see exactly their own work.

EVVO CRM

The service desk for EVVO inverters, fed straight from the field.

  • Cases arrive by themselves. Inverter complaints raised in EvvoCare become CRM cases with serial, model, commissioning date and photos attached.
  • Only what the desk can act on. Inverter categories cross over; cleaning, civil and cabling work stays inside O&M.
  • One timeline. From open to closed, with the CRM reference shared back to the site's ticket.
  • Records in one place. Customer, address, capacity, warranty and contact, kept with the installation.

How it flows

Built as a pipeline, not a pile of apps.

Data moves in one direction, from the plant to the desk. Every hop is authenticated, and the O&M side can only read what the SCADA side writes.

Store-and-forward

The logger writes every reading to its SD card before it tries the network. A dropped LTE link or a cloud restart costs nothing; the rows arrive later with their original device timestamps.

Read-only by design

EvvoCare reads SCADA through database views on a read-only role with a statement timeout. It can show the plant's numbers, but it cannot change them or stall the live system.

Cloud master, local standby

The production database runs on a cloud server and streams every change to an on-premises standby. If the cloud goes away, the data does not.

Made for C&I solar in India

The details that decide a plant's month.

Tariff slots, deemed loss, grid outages and diesel backup are not edge cases on a commercial rooftop. They are the month, and the platform is built around them.

Forecast against actual, with irradiance

Open-Meteo weather and each inverter's rating produce an expected curve for the day. The dashboard draws it under the live power and beside the weather station's irradiance, so a cloud, a trip and a soiled string each look different.

Export limit, held every second

Set a grid export cap and the logger holds the inverters to it, second by second, straight on the Modbus bus. It keeps working with the cloud unreachable and falls back to a safe setting if a meter stops answering.

Grid export cap25 kW

Deemed generation, attributed

Lost units are detected from SCADA voltages and alerts, then priced with the inverter's rating and the month's tariff.

  • Grid outage 118 kWh
  • Inverter fault 150 kWh
  • Curtailment 64 kWh
  • Cleaning due 40 kWh

Alerts that reach the phone

Fault registers are decoded into names, not codes, and pushed to the Android app the moment they are stored. The 30-day history keeps severity, inverter and duration.

Reports the way the plant is billed

  • Generation reports. Daily, monthly and yearly, with a per-inverter breakdown.
  • Tariff slots. Import and export priced by time of day, so the meter reads in rupees as well as kWh.
  • Targets. PR, CUF and specific yield against a target yield you set per plant.
  • Statements. Customer statements and CSV export from EvvoCare.

On the record

Every asset on the plant, measured or inspected.

SCADA measures what is on the bus. EvvoCare derives the rest or records the weekly inspection, so a transformer's loading and a panel's condition sit beside the inverter's kilowatts.
